Question: can gorilla's use handd tools?

Yes, but they do it very rarely. The first observation of wild gorillas using tools was 15 years ago when a female was spotted using a large stick to test the depth of the water in a phd she was trying to cross. Since then they have been observed using termite fishing sticks and a couple of other tools. In captivity they are taught to manufacture and use a range of tools – primarily modified sticks. Chimps are different and regularly use tools.
