• Question: did u want to be a scientist when u were a teenager

      No, but I had no idea how important science is! I didn’t realise that science was everywhere, the ability to think critically and to analyse things is vital to every part of our lives! More specifically science can tell us so much about the world and about ourselves.

      No, I wanted to be a vet! I didn’t know anything about the job I’m in now until I went to university

      No not really. I remember wanting to do various things when i was a teenager – I always knew I loved psychology but that didn’t mean i knew I was going to be a psychologist! I remember wanting to be a lawyer for a while and actually my year 10 work experience was in a law firm. I think it was only after I graduated from my degree, that I thought about what I wanted to do with it. That’s when I started to narrow my options down 🙂
