      well, to me the value lies in what these things can tell us about geology etc. However, I suspect what you are asking about is monetary value.

      The most expensive is Blue Diamond which sells for approximately $4million per carrot!! – (thats 0.2 grams!) these are colored by Boron and can be found in India, South Africa and Western Australia – the famous Hope diamond is a Blue Diamond

      the most expensive single gem sold was the pink star diamond which went for $71 million in 2017.
