I work for a company that designs and manufactures its own range of drugs so that is what I test.
Specifically I work with drugs that treat epilepsy, dementia and breast/thyroid cancer and associated conditions.
I test gelatine capsules containing drugs and excipients (fillers), compressed tablets, intravenous injections and oral solutions.
My department (though not me specifically) also tests all of the packaging components (boxes, blister packs, foils), all of the raw materials (the drug itself and the fillers) and all the coatings/dyes.
