I did a distance learning certificate at the university of Leicester and was accepted on to their degree program. My undergraduate was promoted to an honours degree on the strength of my dissertation. I then moved to Southampton to do a Masters degree and they retained me to do my doctorate.

I went to University of Birmingham to do my BSc degree in Biological Science. A few years later I went to Manchester Metropolitan University to do my MSc in Biomedical Science part-time while I was working. Both very good universities.
