I’m a Scientist, Get me out of here! is back this June. Between the 10th and the 21st, students at 10 schools will be putting their questions to 6 scientists in the Hassium Zone.

Bastian Saputra | PhD Student, University of Sheffield
Bastian is researching how to modify bacteria to make them glow in the presence of soil pollution.
Cheryl Williams | Advanced Biomedical Scientist, Royal Oldham Hospital
Cheryl analyses specimens from patients to help doctors to diagnose any infections they may be suffering from.
Alun Owen | Environmental Chemistry Technician, University of the West of England
Alun teaches and prepares for chemistry and environmental classes at the university.
David Underhill | Special Projects Officer, Mineral Products Qualifications Council
David runs projects aimed at increasing public understanding of mining and quarrying industries, and the STEM skills involved.
Farah Elahi | PhD Student, University of Warwick
Farah is completing a PhD in Health Sciences and also works as a lecturer at several universities.
Helen Faulkner | Quality Control Analyst, Eisai Manufacturing Ltd
Helen tests drugs to be sure that they are safe for patients to take.
