I was brought up as a Roman Catholic, went to church every weekend and went to a secondary school run by nuns, so throughout my school life it was drummed into me that Jesus and God exist.
Now that I’m a scientist, I don’t believe in God, and totally believe that the human race as it is now has come from evolution.
Do I believe in Jesus? I think Jesus was been real and did exist, like other historical figures who we know definitely existed.

No I don’t, we have absolutely no evidence that he ever existed – but faith is an important aspect of human society
I personally believe in Jesus. I was brought up in a fairly religious household, so it made sense to me to believe in Jesus. From a scientific standpoint, there is evidence that Jesus existed from both Christian and Non-Christian Sources. However, there are also historians who argue that he did not exist at all. Interestingly no one in the ancient world debated whether he existed or not.
