Question: What is your opinion on recycling ?

Absolutely necessary! We produce so much stuff that cannot break down naturally – at staten island land fill in new York they have even recovered things that should have broken down (a perfectly preserved 30-year-old newspaper and hot dog) – that particular landfill is also responsible for 2% of the global methane emissions!! Now days the real problem is electrical goods with 40-50 million tonnes being dumped each year (with this predicted to raise to over 500 million tonnes in the next 10 years) we are illegally dumping most of this poisonous material in North Africa. We absolutely need to improve our recycling – not just us as individuals but we need to pressurise our governments to do their bit too!
